well decided to take the dogs out by myself to let em stretch their legs a bit well went to a spot i new had hogs on it turned my Mcdonalds dog loose along with my cur pup i got from JBHunter and the quickly hit a trial so i went ahead n turned my ann dog loose to see her fly past the other 2 and bayed right at 400 on the garmin. Well i headed that way with poncho got within a 100 yrds and cut him loose to see him snatch up a lil 100 lber. dispatched him, dogs rolled out and my lil cur pup Lucy had a good boar bayed cut Poncho loose to her a good fight unfoldin well hog breaks and heads for the hills well my mcdonalds dog must have got there because the hog stopped a lil over a mile away. So i haul arse up to see somethin i hoped to never have to tell anyone my bulldog who has been on a many hog bayed with the curs and my mcdonalds dog layin in the grass cut up pretty good well i call dylan and tell him to bring his bulldog and a cur by the time he got there the hog had headed out now im left with 2 cut up dogs. Needless to say i understand the buldog ran over a mile n the heat and was caught for a good period of time but in my OP if he had enough gas to bay he should have had enough to catch so i went ahead and invested in a lil gamebred female 30 lb. soakin wet somethin ive ben lookin for, for a while introduced her to a hog yesterday didnt take her long to figure out she wanted a hog didnt let her make contact yet but she sure has the want to goin to get some weight back on her before i let her have contact with 1

Sorry about that, a pistolero might be a good investment too!  Hope everyone heals quickly and you can get the hog caught!

now i know i said that my bulldog should not have bayed and im still not happy with the fact he did but he has caught a lot of good hogs for me so i went ahead n gave him another chance after he healed up caught 2 big boars with him the night i started taken him again he ran down a 220 sow solo and caught a good boar the other night im wonderin if he was jus tryin to show some kind of symbol as to that he still wanted the hog jus not enough steam to get it done idk but he has ben catchin fine ever since  Undecided my Mac dog also healed up fine ben doin really well, have caught around 15 decent hogs and a sow that went 380 he caught solo since he has healed up although he will be out again for a while the sow broke his bottom jaw took him to the vet got him fixed up vet said in a few weeks he will be good to go he will jus be missin 1 bottom k9
