Just wondering if I use a shock collar on her to stop the barking ,will it affect the way she reacts to a cut collar while hunting?

shouldn't.  and really you shouldn't have to leave that collar on the dog all the time after a while.  leave it on the dog for a week or so til it learns to quit barkin.  then i'd switch out to a collar that's similar that wont shock her.  if she starts barkin again put the other collar back on her for a while longer than the first attempt.  and just repeat til you break the dog of the habit.

it worked on a lab i had.... she'd never shut up.  only took bout 2 or 3 trials and she got the picture. Wink

Just a update on the barking, went to walmart and bought a guardian outdoor bark control, susposed to cover 50 ft. Put it up on the back of my house and with in a few mins I noticed there was less barking, it's been a few hours and have not herd any barking which is unusual at this time of the evening. Hope I have solved my problem. I will post back to update the progress or failure.
