or put another way

Texas A&M vs Sam Houston State

I am trying to figure out which one to go to.

I might just end up going to the TEEX and just doing the police academy on my own instead of finishing up my 4 year degree.

Any advice or thoughts on where to go?  I am looking at moving in January so I need to get on the application process soon.

I would suggest A&M. Either way, go ahead and get a degree before going to the academy. There are more opportunities and higher pay for officers with a college degree. Not to mention that it will also help you be able to achieve your intermediate and advanced police officer certifications.

While you may get the same quality of education at both colleges, the Aggie ring will open doors like no other.

I didn't go to either of the above, I went to Harvard on the hwy, and have a different take on most college degrees. If I was hell bent on a degree, no question it would be from Texas A&M.

My problem with getting a degree is I am 29 now and I am not getting younger

If I go to school for 2 more years at either college I will have to wait two more years before I start making any money.

Paying for it won't be a problem either way... I will be using your taxpayer dollars  Wink Grin  THANK YOU GI BILL Wink

A&M just took my money, HaHa.  I was way to drunk and chasin girls to worry about a degree.  But man was it fun.  An affirm ring will amazingly open doors you never thought possible.  I see it all the time with my friends that managed to graduate.
