Went out again tonight with Rance and hunted a couple of places with no luck. Pulled down the road and went in to a real hit or miss place and the dogs started whining in the box. We cut em out and Rebel and Blackjack went around a tank and about 900 yards or so and bayed solid. We let the other two dogs get there and made sure he didn't break and then drove around to them. The hog was in a nasty hole in the middle of a plum thicket and put up a pretty good fight, but he wasn't a match for trusty Sledge.  |

Dang good hog,....and you're right, a ditch can be a real bad place to bay a bad hog, they can get a dog pinned up against the side and really work on 'em.
