Nice just to get out .

Cory and myself got out this morning first time in over a month for me as I been kinda kickin back with all this heat going on plus took a blow to my back last week and have had a hard time with it . I took all young dogs this morning and one finished dog Ole Horn , Cory had his Swig Jr dog who is on his way doing well but not finished . They hunted out then got on a old boar hog that gave them a run got him stopped a couple times but not long nuff for us to get there at one time me and Cory seen the hog cross the power line right away he was around 150 lbs are so he was in front of the dogs 45 50 yards he came out the side crossed the power lines then here come the dogs they were having a hard time trailing, I think because it is so dang dry and I do mean powder dry they lost the track on the right away Ole Horn worked it for a min then got back on him but we never got him stopped . He give the dogs a good work out which was fun and a lot of learning going on . I started to bring a stop dog but just didn't do it if Bo are Blue would have been there Ole hog would have been history . Anyway it sure was fun just to get out man . Hog hunt is just a itch that never stops now I got it worse than ever again and I guess we will hit the woods again Thursday in the Smith Woods. Gots to get some pork !
