My mom and her boyfriend were thinking about breeding a litter with this combination. Have any of you guys and gals used this combination before? If so how was it? I am not sure how much she would be asking for them, but would anyone be interested? The pit is the male, and the mom is the gyp. She is out of town but if there is any interest I can get pictures of the parents. The breeding should take place within a couple months. Thanks

That is what we use. Its a good mix but that all depends on the parents. I sure they both have good demeanors or your wouldn't be breeding them. Here is a picture of ours.

They do for sure, several times my beagle who was also an intact male used to play with him frequently, he has no dog or human aggression. I have not met the mother yet, but am sure she is the exact same way. Thank you very much for you input and the picture. Good looking dog

I seen a breeding close to this before. This dogs Dad was AB and mother was Bull Mastiff. They cross him over a Mastiff and then crossed that pup over a pit. Every cross turned out to be a truly amazing dog. I think the only issue with them was the size, and a few health problems resulting from size (heart attacks, bad hips, knees and backs) but temperament wise, there were no issues... Well, now that I say that, the first pup had no dog aggression, but if a human was not invited into his house, well, it wasn't pretty. I think the weirdest thing was, it didn't matter who you were, if you knocked on the door, you were not coming in, period. That included his owner, who bottle raised him.
