My friend found a pit on a backroad, she was skin and bones and he didnt want to keep her so he gave her to me. She looks to be full pit. Ive gotten some weight back on her, im thinking somebody just dumped her on the backroad. Has anybody ever had a dog that hasnt been bred to hunt, hunt? i pulled out a vest and collar that fit her (just in case) Grin. My only concern is, if shes too old to learn properly, or she just might not do anything, its worth a try. Tell me about your non bred hunting dogs that hunt, if you have any and post pics too.

just take her a few times and show her the ropes on a smaller hog, try to let her see a proven dog catch a pig and make it squel, then turn her to it , either she will or wont? but dont just throw her on a big bad hog buy her self and expect much or you might be disappointed? jmo. good luck. she might make a fine dog she sure looks good.

Logan take her for a spin and I bet she will end up teaching your Karma pup a few tricks. With most should come instinctive, add a little encouragement, some patience then some experience.
She is a nice looking dog.

Pits either have or they don't! She will show you what she's got if she's got it at all!

i plan on getting a 40-50 pound hog and put one of my friends dogs on it and let her in, and if she builds confidence let her do it herself, but if she doesnt do anything shes alot better off now than she was on that hot dusty backroad. But i dont know she seems to have something about her that says she can and will

We have had good luck with a dumped pit the same color as her. We now hunt his son. Good luck with her, she is a pretty dog.
