Got an e-mail from Tracker this pass week and will be testing the new Tracker GPS system in the next few weeks.  I'm on Prostaff with tracker and have been asking them to compete with Garin.
Hope to see if they have learned things by othere results.
Will let you'll know how I like it and the compared cost and user friendly.

Mr Mason,

Do you know if the Tracker one will be using the GMS cell phone technology like Tracker was talking about last year?

That is what I had heard as well.  A lot of the places I hunt, cell coverage is spotty at best.

It will be interesting to see how the unit works and compares.

I talked with them not long ago and Jen told me that they would be out soon.  They work off of cell phone technology and they have been tested sucessfully in Europe over the last 4 years.  I should talk with them again tomorrow and I will find out more.
