had a catch dog with a cut on his tail, sounds like almost the same deal. I got that new skin stuff and put that on, it worked pretty well, just got to give it time to dry.

I got a 4yr old catch dog that has done it ever since I started haulin him to the woods he first cut it on expanded metal on my dog box.it eventually heals over a couple of days but everytime i put mine in the dog box he busts his open again don,t know if their is a cure just shy of cuttin his tail off.
