Ohh I am tired as I write this, I want to oofer some advice to the rest of you older out of shape people such as myself, DON't take young athletic type people hunting with you! Just kidding. This morning Mr.Mason had invited Anthony, and I brought Aaron, well those guys make me look bad!
Anthony brought a couple of bay dogs, aaarn brought his young CD (Jag) Mr.Mason brought Haint & Victor along and I brought old Sheery and young Tarzan, and young CD Clorox.
Luckilt anthony had a Garmin because after a bit of walking through the woods his dog Hat, hit a track and went a pretty goodways to get bat bayed, the dogs ended up splitting and Hat was bayed again, we went to him and got on a boar hog that could of went 175, he smoked us right as we turned the CDs to him, but Hat stayed with him and got him stopped again, or so we thought. Another long trek and we got close, and Jag was cut loose followed by the other CDs and we had two hogs squealing, looked up and another Black sow about 150 runs by. climbing, in, over, through a dozer pile we get in to find Aaron had one legged, and stuck with three Cds on it and the Old Sherry and Tarzan pup had the other pinned.
took apic and rested, before the fun really starts! 2.5 miles as a crow flys to the trucks according to the GPS, and Anthony wanted to take the hogs back to the Homeless programs he is heavilly involved in helping feed. So plans were made, Anthony's Hat dog was leashed up, so Mr.Mason and I could go get the trucks while Aaron and Anthony were taking care of feild dressing the hogs and packing them to the nearest road! long story short, We got to the road , got aneighbor to drive us to the trucks and Mr.Mason borrowed another neighbors mini truck to go meet the guys to pick up the pork. Then after we got all that done and everybody back to the trucks we went hunting Haint who was still gone from the first intial bay. Whew! Tracked her up, got her loaded and said our goodbys, NOw It time for some dinner and a Nap!

Krystal,

Those Garmins are starting too look better and better everytime we use them.  I think I am ordering me one for sure tomorrow.  It was a very useful tool last night, just wish I would have had one on my gyp.

Great hunt and was glad that Anthoney got to come down, Now he has Lex and Victor as catch dogs.
We filed the hogs with ice and he headed north.

We're talking about a hunt for the needy up in North Texas and as soon as we have a place we'll try it.

The Garmin worked great, they Anthoney set down on it and broke the supply cord, Glad we had the hogs and dogs and I knew where we were at.

So did you actually sell Victor Mr. Mason?  It's hard to believe if you did, I don't think I've seen a hunting story that you and him weren't together.

Noah,
Yes, Victor went to live in North Texas with his brother Lex.  I now have Rock coming on, his sister and two 5 month old Catdo's and think they are going to be better yet.

I watch yur post also and you have become an outstanding dog man and I like to read your post.

Anthoney will be posting some pictures of Lex and Voctor on hogs.

Thankyou for the compliment Mr. Mason, it'd be tough on me to let a dog go I'd spent that much time with.  I'm sure you've had so many good dogs go through the sting isn't quite as sharp now.   I look forward to your next finished project.

It was awesome to finally hunt with krystal and aaron, and it is always a pleasure to hunt with mr. mason.  I love the catdos, they are such good natured, hard hitting catch dogs and am very blessed to have victor and lex.  thanks again mr. mason.
