Made a run last night with 2kranch (Kade) and his brother.  Turned loose after 10p.  Didnt take long dogs were on em.  Had a couple of bays but couldnt get em to hold.  Finally dogs got one to stop and started tracking to em.  Went as far as we could on the ranger before we ran out of road.  Could barely hear the dogs so I knew we had a long walk ahead.  900 yards later got to em.  Turned catch dog loose and caught a nice boar about 210 to 220.  This sucker was short and very fat.  Since we were so far from the ranger nobody wanted to drag him out, so we stuck em.  While waiting for him to expire dogs rolled out and were bayed about 450 yds down the creek.  Took some qiuck pics and hurried to em.  By the time we got to them they had killed a shoate about 70 lbs.  Dogs chased shoates for a while and we called it a night a little after three.  Had a good time and enjoyed meeting Kade and his brother.   Here are a few pics enjoy.

The formula to make good dogs is long hunts+lots of pork= good dogs and it looks like you all are sticking to it.  Looks good.

Mike I thought I was done too, found a place deer hunters had no say if we hunted along as it was at night.   Grin
Only have to worry about those property lines.   Wink

Chance we gotta tweak that formula those long hunts are getting rough.  Got n bed by 4 and kids were up bright and early at 730.  Was a looong day.
