A letter to a young Friend.

My buddy is down on his luck and feeling kinda bad right now a young guy that made one of them major mistakes we were talking about last nite anyway ya ll might like to read this letter I wrote to him.

Aw man you are just 21 years old you got your whole life in front of you man . U have not even scratched the surface when it comes to these hunting dogs. The thing is if you want dogs like Ole Blu , Lil Ann, Sue, Horn , my old Black Jack dog , Steve , Ole Mojo, Cj and War Dog, Hippy, Swig you got to breed them your on man . You can buy dogs all the time and never get dogs like that. These things take time specially when number 2 don't go right like the way the dog I sent you is acting now because she is pregnant are now I guess not pregnant false pregnancy , thats just sticks in the road man. You learned a hard hard lesson with a dog like what I sent you before man they don't come around very often unless you breed your own are got a ton ton ton of money and know somebody . But now you know not to sell dogs like that unless you got something as good are better to replace it. I almost screwed up bad here five years ago . I had more find dogs than any one man I know and all great damn dogs I had my Black Jack dog who is better than any dog I have owned. I had Hippy, Swig , Ole Blue , Lil Ann those dogs were great great damn dogs so I thought damn don't need all these dogs so I acted like a damn fool and sold Hippy and Swig well it was not two weeks later my Black Jack dog got killed and I had just turned down 4500 dollars for him , then two weeks after that Lil Ann got cut all to pieces and was paralyzed in the back end almost just almost didn't make it then a week later old Blu got cut down bad bad that left me with NOBODY TO FIND HOGS WITH ! After having all these great dogs it left me with not one damn dog that could find a hog and Lil Ann was retired and Ole Blu it took six months for her to get right again and here I was with not a damn dog one that could find a dog and I had not really bred these gyps up until then. I knew it when I sold Hippy and Swig but done it any damn way and boy did I pay the price . We could not even find a damn hog around here man . Me Kyle and Cory went from finding hogs every damn time to ZELCH ! This went on for two three months then my old Buddy called me Perry Don he was down on his luck and having lots of personal problems and he had Cj , War Dog and Daisy three sisters that my son and his son trained as babys . They had turned into great damn dogs so he offered them to me for a small price cause he knew I loved them dogs even tho he could have gotton a ton of money for them from someone else he knew that I would send them back to him one day after he got things right and I got back up on my feet dog wise . Well we went back to finding hogs like nobody's business with Cj , War Dog and Daisy and it took the sting out of Lil Ann having to retire and old Blu taking so long to heal up . Well I bred Lil Ann and old Blu and also Cj and War Dog and got my pups up to a year old Horn his brothers and Penny and Whitey, Camo and Sis and Bam man I was back in business then I called Perry Don and He was back on his feet and offered him the old dogs back cause I knew he loved them dogs and he came got them and still got them and I get pups out of them when ever he breeds them. Only bad thing was Daisy got killed by the baddest boar hog I had ever gotten . Anyway man when a man pulls a stunt like I did he learns that lesson hard and it makes a man really really truly respect a great are good dog cause man you can be put out of business in one hunt are one stupid move like what I made and what you have now made the thing is you are only 21 and you got plenty of time to make up for it I cannot afford to make that mistake again and will not am now 50 yrs old. So anyway man just take it easy it will come it just ain't gonna come over nite like it did with you know who I sent you before and you got a brain fart and sold her unless you get damn damn lucky. Am hoping the dog I sent you will pop out of her shell soon as those pups are born . It is way way better to start out with dogs like you are going to get than to just buy dogs from people you don't know hell I know people that just buy dogs every dang two three months seems like and never get what they are looking for . So just pull up your britches and tighten you belt man things are going to get a lot better it just takes a little time .
