I've come across a heck of a deal on a lil Bayou250, I've never had one but they seem pretty small. Im about 240 pounds myself and after I put a rack and a 40 pound catchdog on it, will it be bottomed out?

Is it 2 stroke or four?

They are good little wheelers, easy to get unstuck. I have ridden a Buddies with no problems and im 250

If someone says it has the power then I don't doubt it. You may want to add some stiffer springs but the racks are rated at a combined 110 pounds that should cover a couple pits or one unicorn Grin It is four stroke.

Ive had a couple of em and for the weight Id add a stiffer spring. Also when it comes to the bike itself either you get a good one that will last a very long time or you get one that always has problems. Good luck.

I like them due to size, weight, and price.  Bayous are the only four wheelers I buy.  I can pull a small hunting trailer and myself just fine.  I am not as heavy as some of you guys.  They can handle quite a load and are tough too.
The last one I bought was $350.00. I buy them cheap and run them until they drop, then sell for parts.  No maintenance or repair.

Our 12 year old little girl has a 220.The 250 isnt much bigger. Sure it will hold you but............ They are bullet proof. Sank it one time. Pulled the spark plug out and cranked her a few times. Started back up and runs fine.

we have a bayou 250 that the kids ride now but i rode it before i got my prairie 700. its a tough little machine once before they could shift the gears they rode it around it 1s or 2nd and it got hot a hell. i opened the deal where you put oil in and stuck a stick in to check the oil and it boiled like a french fry in oil thought for sure it was ruined let it sit over night and started right up the next morning and is still running today. all in all a good ride just kinda small for a grown man but beats walking any day.lol
