Found this pic digging through old posts. I want to fix some plastic barrels exactly like the ones in the pic. My question is how are the barrels attached to the 2 x 4's ? Any help or ideas would be appreciated .

if you have a dairy supply close ask them for the damaged ones, they will usually give them to you. spiders and stuff dont get in them like wooden dog boxes. have had no problems with spyders ever sence using the totes

depends how your barrels are. the ones of mine that have a center square cut out i dont do nothing but spread that 2x4 one or two more spaces. the ones with the top half cut out i just screwed to the 2x4 ahd has so far worked well. cant tell from the pic but i have little platforms infrount of the barrles. mysetup is the same as the picture but is on a slab and it works well so far just have to put a top on them or the smart ones get out lol.
