Well my buddy called me yesterday morning, got suspended from his job. We got down in the woods and it took maybe 5 min, first lil sow was caught, dogs pretty much killed it theirselves. 20 lbs. We worked the dogs out of that area and they struck behind a big slough. They took out over a mile onto another lease. We decided to just wait em out hoping that hog would turn back. Took us about an hour to work the wheelers through the thickets and we got to the edge of the land we were hunting. They were still running in the opp direction, we could barely hear em. We sat there watchin the garmin for about 5 min. Up ahead about 100 yards I see a monsters silouette! Im talkin at least waist high on me. bout 3 ft +. He is just trottin that bad boar trot. My buddy still had one of his dogs on the wheeler and he cast her towards him. She winded and bayed solid at 280 yards. I cut my bulldog off the wheeler and hear him hit and sat down for a min, we was haulin butt to em but got them and he was limpin. Hog put the whoopin on him cut him pretty good. The hog left the country never seen him again. After all that, the dogs was headed back towards us, I got my bulldog stable and we waited and watched, got in front of em to see they were walk bayin a nice boar over 200. I cut my bulldog loose again, and he caught. We tied him and marked him and got out of there.   Went thursday afternoon for my first lil family hunt. Took my son, my wife and the dogs. Loaded down  Here's my son waitin on the dogs  Took a total of 30 min maybe had this nice lil meat sow caught and tied in a bad bad spot but I managed to handle 3 dogs and the hog then I got my boy in there for some quick pictures before it got dark on us. Good times  |

Sounds like a good hunt. Your wife and son look like they were really enjoying the hunt. Nice teeth too.  |

Good hunt, your boy sure seem to be enjoyin his self. Really like to see youngsters out enjoying hunting.

Deff good to see young ones in the woods! Sounds like you had a great time, and I am envious of you. I can not wait to take my family in the woods. Good hunting to ya, and good looking boar!

Hey i appreciate it yall. I don't know if its harder takin the lil one along or tiein them hogs by yourself!!! haha. He sure likes to go so Ill wear myself out if thats what it takes

Thanks Juan and Monty. That boy is something else I tell you. He doesn't want to get too close to the hogs yet but when I tell him you can put your thumbs up for a pic he is game! Hahaha
