Went huntin Sunday night and we got kn pigs pretty quick. Got to the first pig and got it flipped and stuck and we were standin there talkin and catchin our breathe. About thirty yards away the dogs were bayed on another one. Well next thing we kno we hear them start comin our way. The pig runs right in the middle of us. ( one buddy was on my left I was in the middle with the dead pig in front of me and my other buddy was on my right). Well the pig headed towards my buddy on the left and he kicked it and the pig spun around and I just reached down and grabbed the pig and flipped it. We got it stuck quick and couldn't help but laugh. The other two men with me are seasoned hunter and we hadn't ever had that happen or heard of it happen. Just wondering if any of y'all have had it happen before?

Had a buddy call me the other day said that he was headed to his huntin spot and only had his cd the rest were at his grandmas on the way so going down the cr and see a bunch of sows nd pigs he turns his cd loose he catches a smaller one. One sow turns and goes back to it and she is whooping up on the caught cd. Well he ended up catching onto the bigger sow when she started squeeling a boar ran out and then all the pigs preceded to get them a piece of his cd. He said he was tring to catch up well he gets there and goes to hollering and throwing sticks and the boar charged him. He ended up turning back to the brush. Well cd is now caught on a smaller pig again and one sow left said he ran in droped kicked the sow and stuck the pig and carried his cd out. All the while the pigs were watching 40 or 50 yards off. Don't know on his story but his cd sure showes one heck of a whooping he is out for a while. He said even the little 15 pound pigs were biting his cds legs. And looking at the cd I believe it.

yep...was tieing a boar about 225# in a mud hole one night and my dog rolls over only goes about 50yds and starts baying. i opt to let him bay while i tie as it was only my wife and i. the dog bays for about 2min and the hog breaks didnt think much of it until he ended up in my lap. so there i was sitting on a good boar and had a 120#er in my face. i did the only thing i could think of and grab him by the ear, good thing the dog was right behind him he caught the other ear. i brought a pistol that night so i tried to shoot him but it misfired twice (reason # 4 i dont carry a gun). so we cut loose the bull dog and he caught it so here is the picture me (170 at the time) sitting on a 225#er in a mud hole with a 120er fighting 2 dogs a foot in front of me. needless to say it made for a interesting night. ended up we tied both of them and no dogs cut so all in all a good night.

and that's why i prefer not to hunt at night . because even if you have somebody with you . chances are they won't tell you when a hog is fixin to plow up your backside when you're tying up a squeeling shoat but i will eventually get even

Can't remember who was with me either Cory are Donny we just stuck a hog and was sitting there catching our breath and heard something crashing threw the brush our way and before we knew it another hog was on top of us with the dogs on his tail and he went right for us I was on one side of the down hog and my buddy was on the other the hog went right threw the middle of us over the top of the downed hog . Ended up being about a 150 lb little boar hog dogs caught him not much futher down the creek . It will skeer the hell out of ya if you not expecting it . Lol only time that has ever happened.

We got into a group in some neck high palmetto at night, my buddy was holding onto a pig and got hit square in the chest by another. Was the second pig just running away or did it do it on purpose. Not sure.
Maybe 80lb pigs, but sure scared the heck outa my buddy.
Pretty funny afterwards, he said it sounded like a dog running to him.

Ha some good stories. I've seen the pigs come in and whoop the catch dogs before. And I'm with you halfbreed I don't like huntin at night either. I'm guess. That pig came to us cause it was an easy path and our light were on. Just wish we woulda had a video camera runnin. Woulda been funny to watch again

yep happens here a bit when theres a healthy dingo population...if you are hunting really remote areas sometimes they'll chase the quad bike if they haven't seen one before
