A easy way to get brain matter outta skull? Got the bottom jaw perfect but now i cant do anything cause i cant get the top cleaned just right. Wish it wasnt too cold for ants to come up! Wasn't sure if anyone would have some ideas....

Don't know what they're called but someone told me there are worms/maggots at pet stores that will do the trick. I just leave it in a perch trap till its done.

I worked for a taxidermast and we would cut as much meat as we could off the skull then put it in a 5 gallon bucket with water to rot for 3 or 4 days change the water let sit for 2 or 3 days then kinda wash it off then boil the skull comes out real clean

I always stick a piece of bent baling wire in the spinal cord hole and whirl it around to scramble the brain before I boil it. That way it all comes out in little pieces.

thanks yall it's coming out real nice, now what about a plauq (how ever ya spell it) to hang it on? Is there anywhere u can by them at or do you just gotta make one?

And if you decide to bleach it go to a beauty supply place and get the bleach there much cheaper the liquid not the gel
