Got a plott/curr gyp about 4 months old Im starting in the pen, she's been in the pen in the past but didn't show much interest. Well I worked her today with my 6 month catahoula who's got it down pretty good and at first she seemed uninterested but I kept her in there and after a few minutes of her watching my cat work she ran over there and joined in! She worked solid for about 5 minutes Jammin the hog not letting it go no where and built that confidence right up, so I decided to put a little bit bigger boar in there with them to see how it'd go. She again started working great! But then he charged and rolled her and that's when she headed toward the exit, after that she wouldn't have anything to do with it she just wanted out. Now her confidence has obviously been shattered and it's my fault for putting too much on her but I was wondering if I should keep working her the next few days or let her chill out and forget about the incident for a day or two?

put her back on a small one in a few days, alone at first then with your cat.  rebuild her confidence, and let her come out of there a winner.

Marines I see as two breeds, Rottweilers or Dobermans, because Marines come in two varieties, big and mean, or skinny and mean. They're aggressive on the attack and tenacious on defense. They've got really short hair and they always go for the throat.

Will do. Appreciate the feedback! Don't want to put too much on her too fast and her lose complete intrest with it.

Put her on the out side of the pen with the other dog on the inside.  She'll let you know when she wants back in.
Depending on the pen size I like to have one in and one out. I think it helps them learn to work both ends of the hog and it helps in not making them too rough.

Might not be the right way but works for me.

Just work the pup for 2 , 3 min at a time. dont let her lose intrest in the hog take her out with her wanting more. Just let her bay a little longer every time. Every now and then let her watch another dog bay get her all worked up. Leave her on a small one dont get her hurt. Work her with another dog then start her by her self. Works good for me. Good luck
