Is it old fragile plastic buckets or any plastic buckets? I also use plastic drums for dog houses so I don't know what I'm gonna do if it's any plastic. Just hope I guess.

This was brand new plastic bucket. Not brittle at all. Chewed the rim and the bale. Got several more that look the exact same with other youngsters so they got yanked. Switched the feed bowls to the hard rubber ones from tractor supply. They will crib a little on them but they must taste bad cause they dont do it long.

I've had dogs do that but got lucky I suppose and did not notice any ill effects.  I put different things in there for them to chew on cow horns, hooves, shed deer antlers, ect.  Free things.  They should stop when those are available, it worked for me.  You did us all a favor by posting up, could save us all in the future.  Thanks
