Just got an English pointer from a hunting guide. Hoping to put my dane/pit over her whenever she comes in heat. I plan to keep half the litter and get rid of the rest. If any of you big dog and "aussie" style hunters are interested in one let me know. I'm located in Georgia so shipping would required. I bred the same male to a pointer/pit and the pups are 13 months old, full of hunt and very catchy.

I have heard of male English pointers catching and baying but not any females. Not to worried about that though. I've seen plenty of pit over EP's that bay and most catch. I'm obviously hoping for rougher dogs. My goal with this breeding is to add hunt, nose, and endurance.

Every EP I have seen was a tough dog with a great nose.

I would much prefer to breed to an English Pointer female that catches but I have never seen one. I am more concerned with quality of dog. I have a long term goal with this breeding, not just with this particular breeding. I hope to get him breed to 3 or 4 females to allow for future breedings.
