Any body ever tried this cross? I got a female coming into heat and I'm pretty tempted to try it out. They might come out goofy looking but I think it'd make a badass dog

I just hope it's not that aggressive dogo you posted about a little while back.

The agressive female I posted about is spayed. I would never breed a dog that is people agressive/and or dog agressive.

Haha thanks bud, so far he's a pretty good dog. Except for when he wants out of the pen.

I'm hoping to get some more nose in a dogo. I like the way a redbone will find a hog and I like the way a dogo catches. The only problem I've had with my dogos is that they're mostly just catch dogs. So I'm hoping breeding some redbone in there will help.

My concern would be the redbone adding bottom and dogs adding catch, and having a dog caught or trying to catch a bad hog 3/4 of mi out and getting wrecked.
JMO, if I was going to breed a rough to catchy dog, I would breed it to a not so tangy breed. But thats just me.

Dunno where you got your dog from, but I have seen some dogos with good noses. That have been step for step or even struck before a cur dog. Breeding to the hound you may get a wide difference in ability. All catch all bay and those In between. Either way you may get what your looking for or rangy catch dogs that don't bay.
