more proof that the politicians, who are charged with our taxes are croocked and waisting our taxes. they would rather support the economy of other nations instead of our own.

A couple of points. This is sickening and saddening. One of the best "welfare" programs ever was the Public Works Administration during the Great Depression. Instead of focusing of giving money aware, they provided jobs building infrastructure. It paid off both short term (worker incomes) and long term (bridges, roads, etc. that helped with recovery).
Now this. To build infrastructure but use foreign contractors. Futile.
One other observation. State rights. Yes, those. How many of us rail in support of states rights and rail against fed'l regs. Take note. They refused federal funding because federal laws require that they use American companies and workers. Not much different that Perry wanting to do that corridor and allow it to be done by a foreign company.

WOW!!!!! another constitutional right gone out the window. that piece of paper that says US Constitution is nothing more than toilet paper for politicians. Its not just obama, so before anybody thinks im singling him, go back to school and lear to read. all these politician, especially those in congress who voted on and signed this kind of bill into law, needs to be removed from office by the vote of the people. this country is moving at a fast pace to a dictatorship, or communism. the american people are letting to many of their rights be violated and removed. we can not do anything about it if we dont know about it. where is itthat a person can go online and see what bills are being proposed? not state level, but on a federal level.

Charles, what are you referring to? The OP is about U.S. infrastructure being built built by Chinese companies. While it is wrong on many levels, I see nothing unconstitutional about it.

Charles, got it. Yeah, this is waaaay over the line. Makes me wonder, why both the Repubs and Dems supported it. I don't see it as constitutional, but frankly, since 9-11, there have been many, many laws have been passed in this vein that I just don't understand how they are constitutional.

RL it seems you are well versed in politics, or atleast have a more logical way of thinking on it. where could a person find the proposed bills that sit before the senate and congress for voting? im trying to draft an email to my congressman and both senators about that bill signed into law and see if what can be done to cast support to reverse the descision of this type of law.
