Its always nice to catch something when you take someone who has never been before. Last night we took a friend, John Sharman. He was excited to get to go, so we were happy when the dogs bayed up a nice boar. They bayed him up in the bottom of a big drain ditch between two fields. The sides were pretty steep and there was a lot of water in the bottom so, James grabbed his roping rope and I took the loop and slipped it around the hogs flank. James tied it off to the Ranger and John drug it out. James, Bullet cd, and John  Me   |

we were talking the other day about taking people that want to go.we tell them how much fun it is.then we go...walk for hours up and down hills dogs never get excited.they see rootin and ask why cant these dogs run it.we explain these hogs are long gone.when they can smell it they will.they leave thinking your dogs suck and bad mout you to other people and never go again.thats worst case.we do have those days..........good hog btw.glad yall caught one.
