The night started out slow without much action the my Yotie dog struck a 30 pound boar we got the little feller takin care of and moved on. I was ready to head for the house so I put Yotie on top of the ranger and headed towRds the truck she opened up on the edge of a wheat field that was 4th high and dry as a bone. I stopped as she bailed off the top her and the others ran out about 300 yards and bayed I turned the ranger and drove within 70 yards and dropped the catch dogs let them catch and drove the rest the way in. I jumped outta the ranger with tunnel vision and was goin in to leg the hog the catch dogs caught my girl friend and my buddies were hollering LOOK OUT!!! when I looked up a big ol boar was pissed off and headed my way. My little Mtn Cur Yotie caught this boars ear and turned him just in time. I jumped back and grabbed the ol 30/30 and busted the boar and then was able to catch the hog the catch dogs were on and get it taking care of. It was alot goin on in those few seconds. I was lucky to have good friends and good dogs to keep that hog from gettin ahold of me.   Thanks for lookin |
