i have been looking for the past 4 or 5 months now for the right mix for a rcd but cant seem to find one. i need one that will put a serious stop on a runner but also in the same time i need it to be quick and have good stamina.. Any suggestion on what cross would be the best.

That is what I bred pit/ridgeback. But they are only 13 weeks old. Also depends on the terrain you hunt. Lots of fields etc go with a stag or stag cross. We hunt a little of it all so I'm wanting speed and yet still get through the brush.

We have a kelpie pit cross little dog we use for the brush she weighs about 30 pounds and a pit lab cross weighs about 45 pounds real leggy for the open terrain

I just picked up a 10mth old ridgeback/pit gyp. From a good friend of mine. She is put together awesome in my opinion. Was straight rcd but she got cut in the shoulder bad a cpl months back and has bayed ever since. Im hopin she will start catchin again. "the sun is shining somewhere in texas" -Jason Boland
