I thought it was called sarcoptic mange in dogs. If so then yes, I've seen it.

Yes, T-Bob is correct. It is a type of mite. To clear it up don't buy that expensive chit from the vet. Get a bottle of Prolate/ Lintox from
Tractor Supply. Mix 1 oz. to a gallon of water and completely soak the dogs skin. Do not rinse off. Do this a couple times a week for a few weeks and he or she will be good to go. A vet told me about it and I used it and it worked great.

I figured there was a fancy name for it and the vet was just dumbing it down for me. My wife had to take her to the vet because i had to work and they gave her some antibiotics and a mixture similar to what you said except its once a week. This is $32 a bottle and it has 2 treatments in it. But i need the cheapest because it is spreading to my other dogs. it already spread to 2 others. I got them all seperated away from each other now and I made sure to get them all away from my pit and her 11 pups. I just wanna make sure this mix from tractor supply works good and is safe cuz my wifes lil house dog has gotten it and if somethingt happens to that lil dog i will never hear the end of it. so basically jw if anyone else has used this and seen any side effects. Ewwww sorry so long winded.
