Friday Night Hunt. 6/22/2012

Well last weekend i didnt get to hunt any cause i was sick. So Friday mornin Me and My Buddy Marshall went huntin and the hunt didnt go good as we planned it to. So that evenin i had to redem myself. Me and Robbie loaded dogs up and hit my place out in the corn feilds. We drove all through the corn and didnt see any fresh sign. Dogs were running all through it but didnt pick up anything. We headed to a pretty good size patch of woods that has a slough that runs right through it and usually we strike a big boar hog in it everytime. Before we got there my dogs were 500yds ahead of us. Got to the treeline and stoped and they struck and they ran about 20 minutes trying to find em. My Good Dog Diamond singled the track out and went down the slough and bayed. We get within 150yds and all the dogs are hammerin! My catch dog Hooey was still cut down so I had My boy Moody. This was his first hog in the woods and We was ready to go! Got about 60ys from them and turned em loose and he hit! Dogs still baying, tree branches braking but no hog squealin or snortin. I get over there and dogs had em but he wasnt making a sound.The hog cut down three dogs bad! Two of mine and one of robbies.
