We entered the Lingelville VFD hunting tournament this week with high hopes and headed out to a place in Duster roaded the dogs around for a while before Sarge struck. The other dogs got there and caught a boar about 200 lbs. just as it started raining. Got back to the truck and my buddy was on the phone with the guy who was putting on the tournament. He said that the tournament had been canceled and there was a full refund. Went ahead and decided to hunt a few more places so we went to the Robertson and had our first dry run there EVER. Loaded the dogs and headed to the honey hole. Dumped the dogs and it wasn't but 10 minutes before Brutus, Chili, and Sarge went to baying to our left and the other dogs were caught to our right. Ran to the caught dogs first and caught this 100lb sow as soon as we stabbed her we headed to the dogs bayed and sent 2 CD's in. Moose and Roxy got caught and Derek ran in legged the hog while Clint and I stuck him. He finally died and we saw we had a dog cut bad. We stayed and took pics and cut the head off while the other guys headed to the truck to take the dog to the vet. Got to the vet's house and he took care of her and said she didn't have any internal bleeding and she'd be fine as long as it didn't get infected. Ended up with 3 pigs, a gutted dog, and another dog with a broken rib. The last boar was 280+ lbs.

Y'all boys look like y'all are tearing them up! Those are some nice pigs! We caught one today about 200 lb sow. She made 5 pigs for 3 days of hunting. Y'all are going to have to come up here some time we saw some in an open field today and I took red and rico off the hood to them but I guess they didn't see them until they broke and ran. Rico caught the sow about 500 yards from where they broke and red went after another group that he winded but came to rico when he bayed. There was a boar in the group that looked like he could go well over 400 lbs.
