My lil 15 lb  b!tch caught a 90 lb or so sow, in water over her head. She is fearless,  she was on ear, and her and a mix cur were bayed for over 30 minutes. She's missing one canine, and the sow would shuck her off every once a while, but she was back on like a heat seeking missle. The cur mix mostly bayed and wasnt much on catching, he was a friends dog. My young male jagd caught a lil 20 lb shoat on the same run.  I vote you give one a chance. I bet you'll like one. They will get out and hunt, have had em well out to a mile or more before.

Jagds are the fastest learning an trainable dogs they will do anything u won't them to do if your jagds are gritty then put a vest on or cut collar with a garmin dc 20, 30 or 40 an get ready to hunt .

I never hunted with one but I don't see how they could not break a bay. Or stop one they caught with there feet off the ground . That being said there are people that swear by them and catch pigs. I have been around a few and they do HUNT and are GRITTY and will FIGHT. Someone told my brother in Serbia they can't own guns and just carry a pack of Jagds they run down and kill the game. I believe it.
