Came to marble falls to hunt my ranch tonight. We had been hunting for about 45 minutes when we passed a feeder and my buddies dog went out about 150 yards and opened up my two dogs came in from behind me and went to him. One came back but the gritty dog didn't. I called him back since I knew it was trash and he just sat there for about a minute. When he came back he had about 500 porcupine quills in his mouth. I have NEVER seen one of those here before, but that one sure is gonna be costly!!!!! He had so many in his mouth and gums and throat that I figured that the vet was the only thing to do.... So I did. Guess we will see how he turns out in the morning, but maybe that will teach him to stay away from those fools

Me and my buddy when to where he trashed at last night this evening and traced back on the garmin. Didn't think it was possible but we found the porcupine! He was dead, ole Luke had actually killed him before he came back. Don't really know what to think about the situation but it is dead and he is one rough yella lol! Porcupine pic won't upload but it had no quills left!

bad luck just got through pulling them out of mine. next time try taping them to a ironing board. it really works haha. i put a towel over mine then duct taped him to it and opened his mouth and put a coke bottle in sideways to help hold his mouth open. worked really well.

Hopefully I won't have another run in anytime soon but something tells me we will! I'm not sure that my ironing board is big enough for my dogs lol

Haha mine bent all to hell. Wife was pissed. We were working on ground level by the end but it still got the job done. Instead of an outrageous vet bill I just had to buy an ironing board
