its the pot calling the kettle black. lets play the blame whitey again for the social inequalities. it looks like he did good for himself and other black folks have done good for their selves, but the honky is still repressing the black man. my a$$!!!! jews have been persecuted for over 2000 yrs. their own villages in africa sold them into bondage to better their tribe. don't sound like the apples fell to far from the tree 280+yrs later. wanna know how it feels to be repressed, ask a holocaust survivor and then see who is/was more repressed and held down. an entire way of life nearly wiped out/killed off in europe. at least black folks weren't slaughtered like the jews. get f over it and move on, wanna blame somebody, blame the still existing tribes and villages in africa for doing that to their own people, don't blame whitey for buying low and selling high.

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!

I admire Mr Aaron's ability to hit a baseball, but he always seemed to have a chip on his shoulder. Why would anyone keep deaththreats written to you to remind yourself that it aint really changed that muchas far as race relations go. He's mentally ill, unable to get past difficulties that occurred in his life. I'm reading the autobiography of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, interesting the different takes on life between he and Mr Aaron. One cool side note, my Grandfather was in professioanl baseball ,, he managed Atlanta from 68-72, so i had some exposure to. Mr Aaron as a youngster. My Grandad also was the first manager of the Astro's , first manager in the Astrodome. When they were Colt 45's( has to be the best name of ANY franchise ever), he was the 3rd base coach. His name was Luman Harris. Made for allotta fun growing up.

There is a guy up the road that owns a lawn mower shop. He is from South Africa--born and raised there. Things got bad over their so he moves to the USA.
His daughter was enrolling in the school at Bullard, Tx.. She checked the box for race as African American even though she is blue eyed and blond. The folks at the school pitched a fit about that deal and told her she was not an African American.
I beg your pardon. She was, in fact, actually an African American by definition. She was probably more African American that any black in Smith county. All they wanted to do was to deny her any benefits reserved for blacks. That is just the truth.

and those are the true african americans. my step-dad is a mexican-american, born in mexico, moved to american, became naturalized, and is an american now. he doesn't claim he is a mexican, he claims american. but none the less, if any other person from another country with that citizenship, who wishes to become a US citizens, and raises their right hand and swears allegiance to the US, then they are now americans. but I'm not talking bout true african, aisan, latin, irish, german and so forth americans, I'm referring to those races who were born here as US citizens and choose to claim another country before america as their ethnic grouping/race. if thats the case, then where is the german-american block? ill check that block, oh wait, its called white. this country may be as screwed up as a football bat, but dang it, I'm an american, same as my step-dad.
