I have always run rough curr dogs. But i recently got a big pitbull that was a yard dog he is real easy to get along with. Well i showed him a small hog an he was real interested he bit all over it but never really locked down.  I have talked to several guys an the said to put him in a pen with a bigger hog thats a little more aggressive an he would prolly lock down.. any suggestions?Huh?Huh?Huh??

I would first turn loose a CD that will catch and lock, then let the new dog see what is going on and turn him loose. They will usually do what the other dog is doing.
