Went out for a short hunt sunday evenin to my honey hole, I've let it set for a lil over a month. And decided to just take the girls, Lilly(cat), Reeses(red leapord cat), Lacie Loo( lacy) my brothers pup Daisy(cat/bmc cross), her first time in the woods, and my green bulldog China, I havn't worked China so I really didn't know how she would do, but it was time, Hank and Red got to take some time off, boy were they mad at me

. We got there at around 3:30 or so, and when I dropped the tailgate all four took off in different directions, it was awesome. And soon all four were baying, so I headed in, the two younger dogs bays broke and they headed to the other two that were bayin pretty far away. By the time I got to them they were all bayin with Lilly, and it was awesome even the pup was hammering. I turned ol' China loose and she ran in there like a bull but stopped short and started bayin with the others, I said crap, how am I gonna catch this thing, so I hissed Lilly and lunged foward, then China understood what to do and caught on the ear. I ran in legged it and tied dogs. It was a lil' sow @60lbs, good start for China's first catch. Heres the first..

Got the dogs tied, except Lilly she had already rolled out again, so I got the rest to go hunt and I headed back to the truck. I tracked to Lilly and she was about 400 yards away from were we caught the first and was bayed again, so I headed in and they were all there again bayin there heads off. This time when I turned China loose it jumped at her and she caught the ear with no hesitation. And we had another sow this was was a lil' bigger @ 75. Didn't get as many pics it was thick!!!! Pics are hard to see dogs..

This time everyone left behind Lilly, so I was off again, but this time Lilly took me to the other side of camp, and on the way I picked up Lacy and Daisy, and Lilly and Reeses were bayed when we got to em', this one was caught by the time me and China got there, battery was dead in camera so I couldn't get pics anymore, but I let China go for practice and she grabbed an ear, this was another sow but was @150lbs a bit better, as soon as I legged it Reeses and Lacy took off, and I could hear Lilly bayin not far away, got situated and headed to her, I could tell when the rest got to her cause they were all hammerin, sounded gooood!!!! When I got close enough I could tell it was a boar, he was fightin and not givin any dog a chance to catch. So I let China go and she slammed him with the rest grabbin on after her. I legged him and Lilly and Reeses took off again, Lacy and Daisy took off before I had to lead them, this guy was @150 with 1 1/2 in. cutters, I cut him and turned him out to fight later.. We caught one more sow that was @100lbs, and got burned twice by a couple nice ones, one close call, and one never before.. The close call was when all the dogs were gone and it was just me and China, we rounded the corner on a rock road that was tore up with sign, and I heard a grunt....so I turned and at @ 25 yards away was a bruiser, squared up and ready to fight. I wasn't about to turn China loose on this guy, but I heard somethin comin up the road and Lilly rounded the corner. Now I'm not sure if she saw the look on my face or heard my very low shhhtttt, but she all of a sudden got a boost and once she got to me she saw him and got in his face and went to choppin, out of nowhere Reeses came out of the woods behind him and took a bite on his butt, he sat down only to stand up and plow over them and was gone. He burned them but they tried to catch up and I found them laid out in the creek catchin thier breath. The other cool thing other than seein gators was on the same road... As me and China walked the road I heard a low growl, looked and couldn't see anything only a half laid over oak surrounded by underbrush, then the dogs began to bay hard behind where the growl came from, I guess it spook him cause thats when the big cat jumped from his ambush spot. I'm assuming he was goin to get him a pig when they came by in the creek bed, but the dogs bayin caused him to relocate, it was cool.. Here's some more pics I got between pigs before my camera died... RESTING AND COOLIN OFF!!!

It was a good evenin, started about 3:30 or 4, and was heading out the gate at around 7:30, I was pleased with all the dogs, even the pup, and China is gonna make it just fine..!!!!
