Since I have been able to hunt on a regular basis, but I am trying to start. I have made a few hunts recently. Here are a few pics.

Jackie on the way out. This hunt was after a night shift. We caught one real quick.  Caught all the dogs at the bay before they could roll out. One and done.

We hunted a few hours mid morning one day and couldn't buy a fresh track. About 1:30 striker came treed, but we couldn't hear any barking. This deer is what he had treed. Someone apparently shot it but could not recover it. It was not shot the day of our hunt.

I had to break ole Joe out of Hog Dog Rehab for a quick hunt. We caught two on this hunt. This hunt Tech my Parker dog really turned it on. He was about 300-400 away from the bay working his own track, but went to the bay.
Striker rolled out and struck another pig while I lead Cookie and Tech away from where we turned the first one loose.
We got a little ways away, and Striker ran a group right past us. I unclipped Cookie and Tech. Cookie went with Striker and Tech took after his own hog.
Striker and Cookie bayed 300 yards. After we caught that hog I checked the Garmin. Tech was putting down some big circles. Then some small ones. Then he came bayed about 600 yards out. The hog broke before any help could get to him. I called him off, and home we went. I really wanted to stay and hunt, but I had to be up way early the next morning.

I made a hunt with Jug yesterday and we caught 5. Jug's dog Jake and my Striker dog make a hell of a team. They bayed 8 hogs together in some of the thickest terrain I have ever been in. We spent more time crawling on our hands and knees than anything.

Jake and Striker each came up bayed after we had the rest of the dogs at the trailer because we were trying to head home. We went to Jake first and his hog broke before we could get maijor to him. We spent the next hour trying to catch Maijor and Jake. maijor caught a good one by himself. I believe Maijor caught one out of a group. I could hear hogs all around me, but I couldn't see ten feet in front of me. I finally got to Maijor an he had a few good cuts.  Striker had been bayed for close to an hour. We got to 100 yards from striker and i lead maijor in. Jug and the rest of the crew came in from the road with the other catch dog. I am glad only one dog bayed this hog. He sack was covered with tumors or lesions or whatever you want to call it. I am sure glad nothing went to chewing on it. That was a pretty sick site.
