Throw some cooking grease or powdered milk replacer on the food.  Should fatten her up.

It is skinny because the guy didn't take care of the dog. Worm it good , be sure to worm for tapes too both kinds. Feed it the coeect amount of food and the weight will come.

u could be very very very wrong! i had a dog i couldnt pack weight on no matter what and i tried a lot of diff things and took him to the vet several times with same results, no wieght. just cause a dog is skinny dont mean the owner is not taking care of it. u shouldnt jump to conclusions and think nobody knows how to care for a dog or do anything right.

Well if she's skinny from the food he fed and he's knows the problem and didn't fix it, WELL you're not taking care of the dog.

I'd definitely try the wormer but some dogs just don't hold weight.  I've seen a lot of curs that could eat a 50# bag of food and still show every bone they got.

in most cases the dog just needs to be wormed the right way, Diamond high energy is what I feed and should get the job done but sometimes I would feed a dog like your describing sum Diamond puppy. Good luck

Yeah I own some.  Anytime you get an ounce of fat on one and then hog hunt, they look like you ain't fed em in a week, but them kind sure are tough as wet leather.
