I went out hunting on sunday. My catch dog has a very small cut on his leg and it got swollen over night. I already cleaned it, put ointment and wrapped it up. Wat else do yall suggest that I can do to help him out. His not in any pain or atleast he dont show any pain when I move it around and clean it. Im just trying to figure out a faster way to help him heal.

The best spray out there is vetericyn.. its in a blue see though bottle and that sh** cures everything. Hell, I use it on myself. I prefer the liquid not the gel. It is costy but worth it. Then hit a 3cc shot of penicilin to the muscle and 1cc every day and it will be gone quick. Hogs carry bad sh** in their mouths that will make small cuts turn much worse that what they seem quick due to infection. Be on top of it quick and it will not be a problem. After a good while of be in this ol game it will just become instinct to ya.

Yea man. Its just a lil scrape but it got bad over night. All my bay dogs got cut but none of them got swollen like him. Mayb he just rammed sacked that hogg to fast. He was fighting with it in the dirty muddy swamp looking water as well.

smal cut where he can lick it is enough but unwrap it for sure. Let any cut breathe!
