After a bad morning hunt, I made a quick round with my buddy Chris. Dogs hit a track and took off and bayed briefly then broke. About a mike later Ready, Dan, and Nugget were bayed solid. On the way to them I picked up the young dogs Mima and Dommina and headed to them. We got within 250 yards so I kicked the two young dogs off and Chris and I each had a CD. About half way there Dommina crosses in front of us and starts barking. Mima follows the trail and jumps back and starts barking too. I shined my light down the slough and a good boar was standing ready for the dogs to bring it. I sent Comet and Chris sent Boggie caught hog. We got it tied and headed to the other bay. The hog was in a rose hedge maze with a pond in the middle. We finally got where we could see the hogs head he was on the bank of the pond backed up to the rose hedge. Got pretty close and sent the catch dogs. The hog tossed the dogs into the water and swam a few yards and Boggie was able to get a hold of an ear. The hog swam to the bank and was trying to sling him off when Comet got there and sealed the deal.
