Is any one feeding diamond highenergy 24 - 20 I am and my dogs look good but I dont know if it is the best food for the summer . and I pay 25$ a bag what is everyone els feeding  what is a good summer time food ?? |

I used to feed it in the winter only. It contains way too much corn and fat content for the summer months. I would find a 26-18 or less. I feed Extreme year round and couldnt be more happy with it.

I feed it in the winter also. Switching mine over to the maintenance for the summer. I only hunt once or twice a week an the dogs look fine.

I feed diamond 24 20 all year long it does not hurt the dogs at all I pay twenty one dollars a bag you can also feed 20 16 called black gold. After a long humid night of running dogs they lose all fat and have to refurbish there fat, thats why its not harmful to feed it all year.

I feed a brand actually made by Purina, its called PMI. Its just a professional formula of their feed. I feed the PMI High Pro in the winter when I am hunting hard and feed the PMI Advantage in the summer. We only have those two seasons in Fla and winter is short!!! I was at a show today in N. Fla and it was 102 degrees with a heat index of 108-110....thats why I am not hunting.....  The PMI Advantage is 26/16...I think. Would have to walk to the barn to check for sure, but thats close.I have fed it for about 8 years, dogs seem to do well on it. The Advantage runs about $23/50 lbs. Most Purina dealers can order it for you. |

i feeed pmi puppy formula to my young dogs. then i feed country acres 21% in the summer and 27%in the winter country acres is a brand of purina 21%is 14$ a bag 27%is 20$a bag they do real well on it i hunt my birds dogs 5 days week in the winter and they look good on it.

I feed black gold Ultimate Performance to all pups and dogs they look good. But now that it is getting hot I am going to feed the black bag or I have found a food called dealers choice it 12 bucks a bag but don't know to much about it.

ive tried about everything... keep coming back to ol' roy!!!! ha ha...not.........  naw for real, i keep coming back to sportmix 24/20. makes your dogs crap hard...like super hard...so if they crap in your truck, boat, yard, house, garauge, etc.. you can literally pick it up with your hand and toss it to the side.  so yeah....what can be better than that....even if your walking in your back yard and step in poo....it doesn't get on your shoes..it's wonderful!!!!! ha ha.. |
