I have a full bios bluetick gyp that is silent...also got a friend with some full hounds that's are silent just got to take the time to see before you get them in some cases I love hounds but can't stand that mouth..lol

How do you love a hound but not the mouth ? Makes no since , I want a CD but I don't want him to catch ?

No ..every dog is different just because a animal is breed to be one way it dissent mean they are and like I said I love hound but not when they are open ... my hounds key word   HOUNDS are not open on track at all and they suit me just fine got plenty of friends that own silent hounds

sure you can shut them hounds up. Poacher dogs have their voice box removed and run bells on their collar.


 surgery, called "cordectomy," but still makes a horse sounding "bark" to some degree... Just not as many decimals as a dog with out the surgery. Or the dogs I've been around that has had the surgery performed on it, sounds that way!

I had a plott that didnt have no bark, got him after he was a couple years old, made a jam up dog. only voice he had was a whisper soundin rasp. Wonder if thats what someone had done to him?

Had to hunt him with other dogs cuz you couldnt hear him, Never considered someone coulda have that done him.
