Some pics of a few pigs we caught last week. No crazy stories on these just some good hunting. Caught these behind my buddies Slim dog and my Sasha dog.

Had to go to Austin to pick up my new Ranger Friday so I met up with my buddy and made a run Saturday morning in Bastrop.

Dropped dogs around 7am and bayed up quick. Got a little excited and left the gopro on the ranger. We ease in to the bay and the forest is alive and LOUD. They had 30+ pigs bayed up and they were making some racket (pigs and dogs). Called back to the truck and had them send the catch dogs. Well both bulldogs caught the same pig and we had pigs running everywhere. Got him dispatched and while the land owner and the others are talking I head back to my buggy to get my camera. Get there and take a look at my garmin and Sasha is sitting solid at half a mile. Without thinking I jump on the buggy and head to her with Master Splinter (Staghound). I strapped on the gopro and ease in to get a look.

Here is a video of that. Not much to look at but I was trying to sneak in to take a look at how big a boar she had bayed up (needed to know if wanted to tackle this sucker with just me and Splinter) She was in a creek bottom and I never got to see the pig but I could smell him and see her baying on the bank. Anyways I broke the bay and she took him 1.25 miles on another property that we didnt have permission to be on. She was sitting with him so I head back to the group and meet up just in time for another round of baying the big sounder (they had already got one more pig out of it while I was gone). Me and two guys head across the ranch and ease in for another round. Cut Master Splinter loose at about 50 yards and he plucked out a decent sow. About an hour and half after this Sasha quit that pig and started heading back (thank goodness)

Only picture I got of the pigs other than my bay busting video.
