Got a new trailer a week ago and I'm doing some modifications I want to make it shorter but the question is what's an average height if a hog???

I would say 36" would be pleanty tall, maybe 40" for just in case hogs

  yeah biggest hog I ran across running wild had a rub 42 inches high and that hog was a monster .

36. If catch one bigger just do not leave in to long.   We lost really nice boar few weeks back and I think went into shock from being caught and it didn't help by him not being able to stand up.  Good luck. Post some pics
