I have used purgeII. U can get the timed sprayers and it will spray every so often. It's used in stores and restaurants for insect control. It's not total control outside but if u place a few on the side that is predominately up wind of ur kennel it will lessen the amount of skeeters. I keep them outside my front and back door also so when I go in and out the house doesn't fill up.

I use Cutters Backyard Bug Control Spray. Just hook the bottle to your hose pipe and spray yard, bushes, kennels, dog houses, etc.
It has a knob to control spray volume. My kennels are on an Island surrounded by swamps and bayous. During summer months mosquitoes
are bad. This stuff works great and will last for weeks before having to treat again. I use 2 bottles a summer. It goes a long ways.
For the dogs I use Halt flea & tick spray and pour a few oz. of skin so soft in the bottle . Took a few summers to find something that works

well i'm In the process of moving the dog pens around and I am going to try the citronella plants this year . going to plant several around the perimeter of the pens  . outside of that just permethrin10% and regular ivomect wormings . I keep a spray bottle around the pens and touch the dogs ears and heads up for flies and skeeters  .

anybody ever planted the citronella plants ?   i'm not sure if the are a perrinial or annual . or wether they seed out so you don't have to keep buying new plants every year  . they are kinda pricey . not bad pricey but enough to want to save the plants every year  .

I can sell you a mosquito misting system for around 1500, yes it's pricey, but you can not only cover your dogs, but it will come with enough materials to cover your home and a large portion of your yard. And keeping the bugs off your wife and babies from here on out ought to be worth a lil ol 1500.

The systems consist of a barrel, pump, motor and timer, and tubing/ nozzles. There's a certain trick to nozzle spacing and the way you install the tubing, but it's easy enough you can do it yourself.

Now, if you a baller, I've got some top of line systems with high tech features like IPhone apps that help you monitor the system output from your phone and lots of
Other handy dandy extras.

If you've got your dogs out at the back of your property and there's no electricity
Back there so you figured these systems can't work for you, I got something for you too.

No, it's not solar. Its a matter of putting chemical downrange at the proper psi. You still need a power source on the property somewhere, but we can pipe the chemical to the nozzles to around 900 yards pretty easily thru the proper use of PVC.

Well we may have an engineer design and insure the proper operation of the system, but wouldn't you know, a good ol redneck come up with idea.

It don't hurt my feelings, I ain't got the money for a nice system, I just make do with what I can, like Johnny Cash, " one peice at a time" lol
