WHEN I FIRST GOT MY GARMIN I HAD ONE WALL UNIT THAT DIDNT WORK. SO I USED MY CAR JACK AND WALL UNIT TO CHARGE BOTH COLLARS (SO I COULD CHARGE THEM AT THE SAME TIME) . WELL CAR CHARGER WENT MISSING. NOW IAM DOWN TO ONE WALL CHARGER THE PROBLEM IS IT WILL CHARGE ONE COLLAR BUT NOT THE OTHER. NOT SURE ITS THE COLLAR OR NOT JUST WANTING OT SEE IF ANYONE HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM. IAM ON HOLD WITH GARMIN RIGHT NOW AND HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR AN HOUR ALREADY.

Take a pair of fingernail clippers, and trim the end of the charger cord.  Where the arrow is, just trim it a bit.  It should let it fit better, and the blue light should come on.

What he said. Wink It will work...

Before doing this mod, I used to put one foot in the air, close my left eye, blink my right eye 12 times, and hold my breath in hopes that the little blue light would come on. Shocked

nosights,

I think you will find that you are wasting your time getting the DC30 replaced. My money is on the charger not being able to slide far enough in the slot on the DC30 to get a good contact. I used to battle each of my 4 collars, until I finally trimmed the charger side, now I have zero charging issues.  I guess if nothing else, you will be getting a fresh new collar though.

Good deal.   I trimmed the front and cut a 45 on both sides of mine. Now they work great as long as I don't have a lot of dirt/mud built up in the charging port.
