Had a 43 willis jeep i did it to. It made steering it neerly impossible and it road walk like a drunk mule. With these more modern vehicles now days, there r so many aftermarket parts available, u could almost build it for space travel. The over axle conversion is easy, a lil time consuming, but thats cutting the perches off n rewelding them on top, but u can also buy nee perches n leave the old 1s where they are. Making sure the axles r lined back up and even L/R can b a pain but not nut bustin.

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!

Sounds like his sizukis. One drives itself, the other isn't so bad. I'm guessing because he was a little more thurough the second time around. I hope to find new perches. The cj7 missing link kit came with the perches. added to articulation or something. Very bouncy till he fabricated new shock mounts. I'm hoping to find a kit similar, but I have a feeling ill be moving the original mounts. Any ideas on how to make the steering mor responsive?

Should be able to get new perches on a 4x4 store or somethn. Responcive steering? Change to rack n pinion, other than that, a new steern box, ALL new linkages, from tie rod to ujoints on the steerin sector shaft
