I would have need a new pair of drawers for sure after that. Sure glad that tail flicked. Had a friend get hit at night. It never made a sound. A bite to the hand would leave your hand messed up too. I think I might need to check my drawers just after reading about it.

Snakes have been awful lately. I killed 5 cotton mouths and 2 copperheads last couple weeks. A copperhead crawled into my dog pens and bit my gyp 3 times before she killed it. Another copperhead crawled onto my back porch and nearly got my cousin one night. Last week a cottonmouth came out of the ditch and tried to bite my horse while I was driving some cows. I killed that sob with my whip. It's going to be a long snaky summer. I seem to attract them wherever I go. It's not if, but when I'm going to get bit.

Ill be around Abilene all week starting Tuesday night in Albany or one of my new places around there. Got 5,000 to hunt in Ballinger and 20,000 south of Abilene. Supposed to be covered up. They've been sending me pics every day. We'll see though. Gonna try ol Duke out in some of those wheat fields.  Grin
