Boy I tell you....chaps my Hyde. A new spot too....first spot I picked up and can call my own...a good one too. Can't believe he slept in!

Ahh...just messin about really. He ain't never been late before. I AM excited about this spot though. I've been puttin in the man hours...doin the public relations. I've been talkin to every Tom, Dick and Harry on my service route that even looks like they may hunt.

I just happened by an older gentleman at his gate in an area I know holds a lot of hogs...and good ones too. Ended up with permission to hunt his place and within an hour of talkin to neighbors found out who holds most of the acreage around this spot. Contacted him and got permission for all of it. Finally!

Anyway...gonna hit the big acreage this morning...see what we see.

Pasture mostly...some winter wheat. Don't think there are any crops.

Yeah yeah yeah....I was the hunting partner and felt terrible. Good thing the place was close to home and we got on hogs within 5 minutes of kicking out. Good spots like this you don't need much time.
