I trusted someone on here and have been paid for every day I worked. I showed up but things were not ready so I stood around and worked when I could but still got paid for the whole day.

Did you show up on time or were you late? Did you do what you said you would do or only part?

If you dont get paid for work then clearly they don't want you to do any more work for them. The only reason that would be is if your work was not good enough. I have made mistakes at a job site but they always want me back. First if the job starts at eight then I am working at eight not pulling up. That seems to me to be a big thing. Then you don't see me sitting around, I am working. I also do not leave earlier than I said I would unless the work is finished. I have showed up but the tools were not there. I still got the work done. I may have used rebar or a pipe for a hammer or used a piece of metal for a temporary nail. But I give results instead of excuses. I have always been paid.

If a man told someone he would pay him a certain amount then that man should pay that amount! If he wasn't performing then he should have told him not to come back and paid the man not let him keep coming back. I don't know the story but I know my word is my word.

 he did pay him, it was a partial payment, but he produced partial work, when he showed up. he was afforded way more chances than I would have given. iv seen people to leave the job site after being late 2 times, let along 5,6,7,8 times. the boss, plus 2 other workers can vouch for the lack of times he showed up for work.

Second hogmantx1979 was left to work by himself three days and got more done then a three man crew did in a week. Third of all, he was told not to show up several times because the dumpsters were full and they could not do anything more until they were empty. Reality is that Lou paid his " buddies" and is refusing to pay what is due to hogmantx1979 which makes him a liar and a theif. Hmmmmm who wants to see proof?

Man this is starting to sound like dog trading. I have been on both sides of this before I had sorry people work for me that wasn't worth a lick and wanted top dollar I paid them and told them straight up what was what. But I have been on the other side when you do everything and don't get what was owed. But I never took to court told them what I thought of them and went my own way cuz the person that rights the checks wins not the guy that cashes them hard lesson but its the truth

Now finally someone has something to say. Now you did throw in some opinions. 1st who cares what the mother of the owner did or said? She is not anyone that matters. Clearly sounds like Lou trusted hogmantx1979. 2nd sounds like Lou trusted him again. Why compare to other people? Did he get done what he said he would get done? 3rd if he did not show when told not to show up then that does not matter. Did he show up when he was told to be there? Did he get the work done that he was told to do? Did the amount of work he had to do get reduced from when the pay was discussed? I am not talking emotion but he came on here bashing someone with no facts. Kind of like a dog trade did the dog work like it should have or not? Not opinion or anger just facts. Unlike dogs a man's work can be measured. Was it pay for day or for work?

Now I like to spell out how much I am getting and what I have to do for it. I prefer to be paid for the work and just get it done. Pay per day is for showing up. Just the way I see it. I hope the two of you can both be rational and when the dust settles both learn something good from it.
