Decided to post this, so when you see an add you don't have to ask were do you live, if you have a smart phone just use this app, it has many other benefits also.

Its a good thought, but folks hav to know how to read the entire post or use common sence n stop being lazy n look it up instead of goin for the easy route n asking the seller. But phone number and location arent always the same, my number is an east tx # and i live in central tx. Even putting the location of the item, there r still gonna be id10ts that ask where ur located

Not sure this is going to be that useful.  My son has a 281 area code number (Houston) and lives in Georgia.  My daughter has a 281 area code and lives in South Carolina.

Zip codes should work.  Area codes not so much.

What i do is if I'm interested in something someone posted i use the app to see were it says they live  then i look it up and see how far  they are from me and if its a reasonable distance, then i call them and say don't you live in __________ and 9 times out of 10 its were the app said. But when its wrong i say well thanks let me look that up and see how far it is from me.

Yeah I think the easiest thing is for a person posting to say where they are located, some post do, a lot don't.  I think what happens a lot is, someone sees something for sale and the know someone else looking.  They tell the person who is looking the phone number and very little about what is for sale or where its at.  Even if I were to post something for sale, it doesn't take all that long to tell someone where I am at.  If they text and ask, it only takes a sec to reply.

Exactly, well minus the takin a sec to reply where im located bc iv already put it in my posts. I will ask where did they see my add/post n if they say the site i posted it on, i will tell them to go back n read my post n if u still need more additional info that i didnt cover, ill answer it.  but yea, agree with some1 seeing n tellin their friend but not giving the follow up info. I had a a guy txt me 2wks ago asking everything that i posted. I told him that n said well he got my numbr from a friend but the friend bother to to tell him anything other than my numbr.

Some folks are not up on all this internet stuff yet, none the less all the new hog doggin terminology LOL, but that doesn't mean they cant still search for a dog.  Lots of people still look in magazines and by word of mouth.  Believe it or not, I gets calls from an ad I posted over a year ago on a different site.
