106 hogs for 2013

I know it's not near the number as some of the people on here but for all dogs that we hunt with being under 2 and 1/2 years of age I'm happy with that. We lost a few good dogs but had some others that stepped up and filled the roles they needed to. Gonna to try and beat 106 in 2014.

Went out the last Friday. Got to the place around noon and by 2 we were headed home. Dogs were about 200 in front of us when they bayed up. Caught the first sow and by the time we tied her up they had rolled 500 and bayed up a smaller boar hog. Got my brother on a couple more while he was in town for the holidays.

Nothing wrong with those numbers. That is an average of more than 2 per week all year long. I would figure there were weeks that u didn't get to go for one reason or another. Not bad at all. That is a big ol sow u got loaded up no doubt.
