I have searched the forum and cant seem to find any answers to my qeustion is this system worth buying or not i really am not worried about having all the maps like the garmin has just wanting to upgrade from my old telemetry system

I have the sport dog tek 1.0 it works well for what I do with it the only complaint I have about the system is the antina on the collars are crap and the collar straps are rubber they get cut up if a hog hits them

It says it will pick up to 7 miles but where I hunt it can't pick up that far the farthest I have had mine pick up was 2.5 miles before it lost communication on flat land it would probably do beter
